In praise of imperfect men
Would you let an overtly racist man spend time with your son? How about an alcoholic?
A lot of people would say NO. As parents, we worry about our sons’ safety - and we worry about negative influences. We aim to surround our boys with positive role models and actively keep them away from those we deem “bad influences.”
We may be making a mistake. Imperfect men (& women) have a lot to offer.
