“In our culture, boys quickly learn which behaviors are most acceptable for them to display, and singing your heart out and supporting a friend aren’t high on the list.”
The culture all too often views boys as defective girls.
“When mostly men went to college? Prestigious. Aspirational. Important. Now that mostly women go to college? Unnecessary. De-valued. A bad choice.
Men are increasingly shunning college and opting for trade schools instead. In colleges, there are many female-only programs, and zero male-only programs. After graduation, men in office jobs will have to deal with the feminists in Human Resources that openly discriminate against men. Trade schools, and employment that follows graduation, are far more validating and respectful of men that college tracks are.
“When the number of women [in a profession] hits 60% the men who are there make a swift exit and other men stop joining.”
I have a degree in accounting. The filed is now 60% female. I didn't voluntarily leave, I was forced out. Female hiring managers, and the feminists in Human Resources, openly discriminate against men, because they know they can get away with it scot-free.
